A night out on the town! We had a lovely social evening at the local Friendship Vietnamese Restaurant in Wembley, and it was supported by 14 Members, 3 Honorary Members (Jeanette, Leonie and Susan), 10 Wives and one Guest – Cate Barlow’s sister Mary. We took over just about the entire restaurant, and experienced a lovely feast consisting of mixed finger food as the entree, several very generous dishes of chicken, beef and duck with noodles and rice as the main, and finally rounded off with fruit platters and cakes! A great night was had by all, and we thank the Ladies Social Committee, and especially Sybil Burns, for organising the most enjoyable night out. Well done; we should make a habit of this sort of convivial get-together!
